What Doctor Who character are You?
created with

I think those who know me would agree with this!

You Are A Chestnut Tree
You are a born diplomat with a well developed sense of justice. And even though you’re impressive and intimidating, you’re also fun to be around. You can be irritated easily, and you sometimes act superior. Nevertheless, you are sensitive of others feelings and very loyal. Sometimes you feel misunderstood and are fiercely close to those who know you best.

Apologies may be in order…

You Are 82% Evil
You’re the most evil person you know. The devil is even a little scared of you!

Problem solved

After getting so annoyed with all these non-plain text entries where I couldn’t put quizzes, pictures or half of the stuff I wanted I have now found:

The Solution to the Rich Text/Plain Text problem

Weehaaa (yes I made that up so hands off)!

A request just came to me…

I was just thinking about how I know approximately what half of my flist look like and I thought it would be cool to have a complete wall of faces in my head when I type, especially as I’m meeting a few of you later this year.

So if you haven’t posted a picture of yourself, have no website and your icon is something weird (can’t understand why you’d do that… lol) then post it, do it!

If you’re a little shy then feel free to send me an e-mail with a picture of yourself for me to laugh at so I can see how you look.

Of course if you are really into the mystique surrounding you then I completely understand, it was more for my curiousity (being a nosy monkey) than anything else.

Okay you can get back to work now!

I’m 8 weeks old…

… and smile all the time (well a lot)!

I’m in an awardsy kinda mood

Many friendly welcomes to mynxii and xjenavivex. Really hope you enjoy your stay (even with your names that are hard work to remember… lol)!

Okay, I was just thinking about things that had happened over the last few weeks and wanted to give out some awards; unforntunately there are no prizes but come on, isn’t the recognition worth its weight in gold?

Memory of the year:

The guy who handed out the numbers for Grabbhalvan a couple of weeks ago. If I write the conversation between us you’ll know what I mean here:

Monkey walks into office to pick up his pack for the race and sees the guy who is responsible

Monkey – Hello
Guy – Deniz isn’t it yes?
Monkey (feeling famous because he was in the paper a couple of months ago) – Yes, how did you know that?
Guy – Well you ran last year didn’t you?
Monkey – Oh I thought you’d seen me in the paper.
Guy – No, you ran last year.
Monkey – But you can’t remember me purely from that meeting
Guy – Why not?

Monkey walks out in a state of shock (and has not recovered yet)

Casting decision of the week:

Whoever the f**k thought that Sam ‘Beefy’ Neill could play Ian Curtis (who killed himself, aged 24)

Mutual Live Journal friend of the week:

Big competition here but I had to go for ninja_pencil (or turtle?) for keeping my spirits up with what makes a great horror film (notice ‘spirits’, am I good or what?) During our arguments regarding how good/bad Sam Neill is, hehad me rolling around on our floor at home!

Wish you lived nearer ninj!

Song of the week:

I’ve listened to a lot of crap this week but something that keeps getting whammed on the stereo is Adem’s Warning Call. There is no way I think it will be my favourite on the album Love and other Planets but it is a really wonderful little song and keeps me humming and smiling (good stuff this week)!

TV Series of the week:

Deadwood – god this program is so good and I so see what everyone has been going on about for the last few months on LJ. It has great characters, great stories, great acting and is so gripping.

People keep persuading me to persevere with Doctor Who but I am having problems unfortunately. They might have the money for effects now but the stories aren’t particularly good and some of the lines are frankly embarrassing and grate on the nerves: ‘This is my fighting hand!’

Things are going pear-shaped

I went to bed early to try and get some sleep and now I am up again as wide awake as I can ever remember!

Tomorrow is going to be nasty!

Not my day

I’m not feeling good today. I’m not sick or anything, I just don’t seem to be motivated or constructive and I have this little gloom shadow hanging over me without me knowing where it came from or how to get rid of it.

I might go for an early night and try to sleep it off…

Revelation on a Wednesday afternoon

I’ve just realised I’m lazy…

… oh shit!
