How was Halloween at Café Östra?

It was a fun-packed day actually…

The day began with a mini-edit of my semi-horror story that I sent off for October’s challenge for Voyager. Then all sorts of administration around the publishing company took over before I got down to the real stuff…

Maddoc had a little evening meal of banana porridge (well he is the monkey’s son) before having a bath and…

… reading the ghost story that Daddy bought him for his very first Halloween (yes it is Alfons for the Swedish contingent).

After putting the little (scared) boy to bed (with his ghost mobile) I sat down and watched The Ninth Gate. As far as horror goes it’s not amazing (if it even is horror) but it won’t be going in my demise of horror films post coming up tomorrow, which is always a good sign!

Now what? With an hour or so before the witching hour proper, I think I’ll try to conjure up some of the ghostly images that have been in my head recently…

bwahahahaha… cough… ahem
