Be careful with that axe Mr. Deniz (and other news)

Yesterday saw my first (official) guitar lesson and to say it went badly would be like saying Joel Schumacher isn’t a very good director (I’m working on humour here… )!

It seemed as though the teacher, although a good guitar player, had no concept of the pedagogical side of the lesson and was actually surprised that most of us didn’t know how to tune our guitars or play a few songs already (it’s a beginners course remember).

Nevertheless, it’s got me more motivated to put time in, I came home and tried my Mission Impossible riff (Etina had no idea what I was playing *cringes*) before trying another look at my Play Guitar book. Some of it makes more sense but of course this is going to take time (and I am prepared to spend it.)

Got a call today from the guys looking at my business plan and they have passed it on to stage two, meaning that I now have a meeting next Wednesday to be grilled about the company. Cross your fingers for that one people!

Maddoc is bopping around to the album selection, more to follow…
