gillpolack = awesome (but why?)

Having described my humour as scarily similar to the Aussies made me admit that I felt Gillian’s humour reminded me of someone from Northern England. This is a person that makes me laugh very often on LJ and is guilty of me getting dodgy looks from others whilst I sit there chuckling at a computer screen as regularly as I do!

She is far too knowledgeable about history and has made me scared of writing my next fantasy epic for fear that my heraldric symbols won’t go with the curtains in the king’s castle…

Gillian also has a keen interest in quails eggs and when not talking about them, is, I suspect, cooking them up a treat!

Not only is she a warm, funny, interesting person herself but she is the one responsible for me meeting the amazing

and this is testament to Gillian’s awareness of those around her. She has many cool posts on LJ but even manages to have exciting experiments, such as getting others to write her journal for her when she is away, I for one, really enjoyed that mix and match week or so!

All in all Gillian is a damn fine person to know and I very much look forward to meeting her when I eventually make my way down under.

(Even if she has accused me of being directly responsible for the monkey’s demise)
