Bike Tour #18 = ‘Kimstad’, 25th June 2007

There was lots of ‘shall I, shan’t I?’ with this one, due to a gruelling ride on Sunday. However the day was just too bright and off I went…

I kept looking outside at the glorious sunshine and the distinct mellow breeze and wondered how I could avoid taking the bike out. My legs were still sore from Sunday’s ride though and I promised myself just over an hour, which would give me a run but not tax the muscles too much.

I have a decent course that is just over an hour but I really didn’t want to do it yesterday for some reason and so I pondered for a while before just setting off in a direction. Kimstad became the course, a small village about 16km away from Norrköping and it was perfect, really nice roads as they were very quiet and there was some beautiful scenery around. I didn’t take the camera as I had no batteries in it but will definitely have to take it next time.

A good course, a new record, and a decent time to beat… and beat it I shall!
