I’m now on a roll, with nearly 2,500 words today amidst the cleaning and preparing for my sister and family coming tomorrow/Tuesday. They don’t arrive until around 00:50 and so I can count tomorrow as a normal day. The fact that my total now stands only 500 words away from Tuesday’s goal means that if I kick some wordage tomorrow will mean that I won’t be anywhere near as far behind as I had first thought come the 14th.
