Loads to say… and no bloody energy to say it

I’m falling to bits, it’s not enough that I get up with the boy at six, drop him off at seven, start the business seven thirty, work my arse off till three and then pick him up, be with him until bed and then start back on the business till I look at the clock and think ‘oops time for bed’ at around eleven but then I end up dreaming about all sorts of stuff too!

Me loves it though, imagine being able to do this full-time indefinitely!

One day, one day…

has been getting some work done behind the scenes with all sorts of artists, writers and other funky people being talked to and a secret project for next year suddenly turned into two secret projects (*head hurts*)

That is on top of reading two collections for possible publication, a novel, a six book deal and a novella. Oh yes, we are not taking any queries for subs that aren’t our two anthologies at this time, our staff are working around the clock on these (whatddya mean we have no staff?)

Skadi’s antho is off the ground with people asking him if he wants modern oriental stories for his Viking book *chuckles* Hey, at least they’re asking!

Voices is picking up, and some rather tasty subs have been coming in lately. It seems to be a case of people who have actually written for this theme, rather than the ‘ooh I have a story which features a hotel on page two of twenty seven, they’ll want that” NOTE: no, we don’t.

In Bad Dreams 2 reading is going well, I’m happy with my choices for preliminary choices for the book and am looking forward to discussions with

regarding them.

Might have a poll of sorts up soon as I want some opinions about stuff in the publishing/editing/writing area.

I went to see The Smashing Pumpkins on Saturday with brother-in-law Ninos. It was bloody great! I danced and sung my heart out! Review over for now (see today’s subject)

That’s it, I’m done…
