Lightness on a dark day

Being as how it’s a truly dark day (last day of trial), it’s nice that already (last night and this morn) I have had some stuff to make me smile:

Quote from football commentator last night:

The seconds on the clock are literally ticking away

Quote from top film Cloverfield:

What’s that?
Something else… also terrible

[messing with desktop this morn and sorting out icons and taskbar]

Mark: [sings] Lock the taskbar [along to Rock the Casbah]

Quote from someone who sent a sub to Voices:

I’m an avid reader as well as a writer. I have to admit, the name “Morrigan” caught my eye, and from my exploration of the website, it looks like you’re going to be publishing books I’ll enjoy reading.

And to top it all off I just sent a contract to Ronald Damien Malfi – how fucking cool is that! (I am an unashamedly squeeing fan of Malfi)!
