Down to 40 songs (aka gut wrenching pain)

And I’m there, 20th August 2010, I can finally say I have 40 songs to go through, listen to intensively, order and generally agonise over for the next few weeks, before the unveiling, 13th November 2010.

Of course I’m going to give no clues at to what remains in the chart, preferring to reveal all that information at the time. I can, however give you all those that just now, fell by the wayside, giving me a special twist in the gut in the process!

(Audrey just expressed relief that ‘Five Little Ducks’ is missing from this cull)
