Well, hello there and welcome to the first post of this Top 50 tracks of all time bonanza! I decided to post my introduction post when I’d reached 50 likes on the Facebook page and, on checking today, I see that I’m up to 64 likes, so let’s go!
As you are now no doubt aware, I turn 50 a little later this year, and had some ideas for how I was going to celelbrate, one important one being the announcement of my top 50 tracks of all time, which has been scuppered a little by a virus sweeping the world.
A few weeks ago I came up with the idea that I would announce tracks in the chart over the space of a few weeks, with a little trivia and fun and games added for your amusement/edification.
My plan just now is to start everything off Monday, 13th July, with a Vlog entry, where I announce track 50 and describe my reasons for it being in the chart. I will then space out the tracks between 49 and 21 until 14th November, where I will go through the top 20 in that day.
So, thanks for coming along and getting ready for something that has been a feature of my birthdays since way back in 1991 (my 21st).
